| Gertie Linford's wedding to Horace "Horry" Oxborrow 1918. Her sister Alice (standing behind her Gertie and holding the young child) was married in 1914 and widowed in 1916 with two young children. The little girl front left is probably Alice's eldest daughter Connie. Behind Alice, centre back is Dorothy Goodship who married Herbert Linford in 1922. Herbert and William jnr are absent from this photo because they were both still caught up in the war. Ethel is seated between Gertie and her mother. The gentleman far right with the bowler is believed to be Henry Bailey |
