This photograph appears to have been copied from an original postcard. On the reverse is noted, in pencil:
1.Post-box built into station buildings on the "up" side (It appears to be just visible beyond the sack-barrow on the left hand side and just before the window in the first gable end)

2. Signal box in early position prior to being moved to near end to control the crossing gate (ie to just beyond the crossing gate on the right)

3. Fancy finials to gable ends of "down" side buildings
4. Colour poster of Yarmouth on the left hand side placed upon a pre-grouping or joint line board
5. Doors to Tariff shed painted two-tone ie stone (?) panels with a tan surround.
This photo can be compared with that taken in the 1970s which shows the signal box in its later position. (Click here).
