This photo was taken in 1959. The little cottage (29 Anmer Rd) adjoins the old chapel and has since been extended and substantially altered and is now known as Nanaimo Cottage. It was at one time the home of Joseph Skate Bates who was born in Flitcham in 1844 and died there in 1930.
